Why do I need a résumé writer?

Can I use the same résumé regardless of my position choice?

 

You can, but for optimal results, you should tailor your résumé to fit each position of your choice.

Is there an additional fee if I want more than one style of résumé? 

 

Yes, each résumé has a separate fee.

Why do I need a cover letter?

 

A cover letter is an introduction to your résumé.  It can be used to clearly state your intentions for applying, let the employer know you are willing to relocate, and to give the employer an idea of the skills you have.  It also can give an employer clues about your professionalism and your personality.  Cover letter and résumés are a package and shouldn't be split up.  You can kind of view it as meeting someone for the first time.  You wouldn't really do that without speaking or introducing yourself so you don't plop a résumé in front of them without a cover letter. 

How many drafts do I get before my project is finalized?

 

With each résumé/cover letter package, you will receive 2 drafts to review.  This is why it is very important to thoroughly and accurately complete your questionnaire.  You can incur additional fees for unnecessary drafts needed because you left something out.  Of course, any correction needed at the fault of the resume writer will be handled free of charge.

How should I send my résumé/cover letter to employers?

 

You should pay close attention to employer instructions on how they wish to receive résumés and cover letters.  If asked to provide a résumé and cover letter via email, it is best to send it in PDF to ensure the documents maintain formatting and integrity.  At the completion of your project, you will receive a copy of your résumé in both Word and PDF.  You can make simple changes on your own and save the documents in Word and also in PDF. Just pay close attention to the employer’s request for formatting.

I am not in the Birmingham, AL area but I would like to participate in a mock interview. Is this possible?

 

Yes, via video-conferencing services such as Skype, Facetime, etc.
